    Jared Rushton is a founding partner of Mycosphere Labs. Jared has worked in the capital markets space for over 10 years with a large focus on the legalization and funding of publicly traded cannabis projects as well as a variety of mining and technology companies. After gaining first hand knowledge in the process of blending the traditional world of finance with cutting edge industry, Jared has stepped into the entrepreneurial space to bring some much needed disruption to a stale industry.

  • Mitch Mckenzie

    Mitch Mckenzie is a founding partner of Mycosphere Labs. As a former member of the cannabis industry, Mitch has been aware of and engaged in the medical and social benefits of natural medicines for years. With the resurgence of interest in the fields of psychotherapy and biopharmaceuticals, he made the transition into product development and alkaloid specific testing. Mitch’s focus has been to offer highly efficient and physiologically friendly alternative treatment options to those that can’t, or prefer not to make use of modern pharmaceuticals. Mental health impacts his family as it does endless others, and his aim is to improve some of the challenges we all face in the world today.

  • Nathan Mison

    Nathan Mison is a Founding Partner of Diplomat Consulting. As the former Vice President of Government and Stakeholder Relations at Fire & Flower, he was one of the first employees of the company, helping guide it through legalization and into its place as Canada’s largest independent cannabis retail company. Nathan is the co-chair of the National Cannabis Working Group for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Co-Chair of the Canadian Cannabis Tourism, Alliance, the Past Chair of the Alberta Cannabis Council, a member of the Editorial Board for the Cannabis Retailer and a founding member of the Ontario Cannabis Policy Council for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce,. He has a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Alberta. Loves hosting people and events such as the co-founder of Politics on Tap and Porkapalooza. He has been married to Stacey for 20+years and spends his time with his three children.

    Blake has 15 years’ experience in the Capital Market industry including 10 years dedicated to the mining and natural resource sector in Australia with Rio Tinto, BMA Metals (subsidiary of BHP) and Santos Ltd. Blake Morgan is the CEO and President of Opawica Explorations Inc and also President and Director of numerous other publicly traded companies. Blake has raised tens of million dollars for various public and private companies and successfully taken numerous companies public in the US , Canada and Germany.

  • Krish Sidhu

    Krish is the CEO of The Evolved Co., a company focused on bringing tech enhanced products to the market. His integrity and good nature have created strong relationships throughout the globe. Krish is a serial entrepreneur, who’s career spans 25+ years in the fields of management and administration of multi-level projects. These include land development, construction of luxury single family homes, commercial construction, and commercial and residential renovation. Since 2010, his focus has been in business development, sales, marketing, branding, fundraising, and investing in IT/Apps, Healthcare, Cannabis, Mining, and E-Learning markets. He is a founder of Fire & Flower, one of Canada’s largest cannabis retailers. He is also a founder of Kisolite, one of the world’s leading glacial clay companies. Krish proudly serves on the Board of Directors of the HollyRod Foundation, a charity focused on bringing awareness to Autism and Parkinson’s. Krish’s years of experience in business and project management have created a wealth of knowledge and understanding in multiple areas, ranging from initial design, to procurement of materials/equipment, to investment, branding, and sales. Krish’s combined skills have been instrumental in his success to deliver completed projects with high quality and integrity.

  • Peter Chen

    Peter is founder and CEO of Tality Kombucha. Originally funding the company with a student line of credit while studying commerce at UBC, Peter has worn every hat to grow his business from development, to sales, to distribution, to production. Today, Peter and his team brew out of their North Vancouver facility, fermenting authentic kombucha using real roots, fruits and herbs. The first Canadian B-Corp kombucha company, a 1% for the Planet member, and certified organic. Find them in bottles and on-tap at Thrifty Foods, Nesters Market, Safeway, and popular cafe's, restaurants, and breweries across BC.

  • Corey Richmond

    Corey Richmond is Head of Research and Development of Mycosphere Labs. Corey is a first-nation Maori from New Zealand and currently lives in Vancouver. He holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology at the University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Biochemistry in University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Corey’s deep interest in traditional Chinese medicine led to discovery in herbs and fungi used in TCM and their health benefits due to secondary metabolites. He specialises in plant science, with research experience in statistical analysis of biological data. Corey holds multiple certificates in genomic technologies, plant informatics and data science.
